2026–27 Season Tryouts
Players try out for both Fall and Spring seasons. Our goal is to meet every player where they are, placing each on a team that matches their development level. Tryout sessions are 45 minutes per age group and include warm-ups, athletic assessments, and small-sided scrimmages. All players are evaluated by our volunteer coaching staff and Elite UK Soccer trainers.
Important: New Age Group Format for 2026–27
Starting Fall 2026, BAC age groups follow the new seasonal-year cycle (August 1 – July 31), aligning with USYS and NHSL standards. This replaces the previous calendar-year format. Please check the Age Group Matrix below to confirm your child’s age group before registering for tryouts.
Tryout Schedule
Rain Date: Monday, May 18 (if needed due to weather cancellations)
Attendance
Players must attend at least one of their two scheduled tryout sessions. We strongly recommend attending both sessions for a more thorough evaluation.
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
Parents must check in their child at the field and stay to make sure they are placed in the correct age group session. With the new age group format this year, it is important that parents are present at check-in to confirm their child is in the right group before the session begins.

What to Wear
Returning BAC Travel players: Please wear your BAC uniform jersey to tryouts based on your age group. This helps evaluators quickly identify returning players.
New to BAC Travel Soccer? No worries. You will be assigned a pinnie and number when you arrive at the field.
Interested in Coaching?
BAC is a volunteer-run club and we are always looking for parent coaches to help lead our teams. No soccer experience is necessary. All coaches receive support, resources, and access to our professional training partnership with Elite UK Soccer. Every team also receives one trainer-led practice per week.
If you have a soccer background, even better — but it is not required. If you are interested in coaching for the 2026–27 season, please let us know by April 20, 2026 so we can plan accordingly.
