BAC 3rd/4th GRADE GIRLS FALL WELCOME INFORMATION

Game schedules will be posted on TeamSnap in the next couple weeks.

THINGS YOUR CHILD WILL NEED:

  • Shin Guards
  • Size 4 Soccer Ball
  • Soccer cleats
  • Water bottle
  • Bug Spray
  • A uniform shirt will be provided to your child on the first day. They may wear shorts or sweatpants depending on the weather.

We are using TeamSnap to help coaches and parents communicate. You will receive an e-mail from TeamSnap with the information you need to login. Using the website or the app, you can see team information, schedule of practices and games, and receive updates. If you do not have login information you can simply request a password reset.  https://accounts.teamsnap.com/

Cancellations due to inclement weather will be sent via email blasts, posted on the website and social media. Soccer plays in the rain! The times when we cancel are due to excessive rain, thunder/lightning, or whatever else Mother Nature decides to throw at us 😉 so please be patient and wait for those alerts.

Standings

3rd/4th Grade Division Game Format

 

  • 8 versus 8 (7 field players and 1 goalkeeper). Due to smaller team sizes coaches may decide, before the game, to play 7 versus 7 (7 field players and 1 goalkeeper) or, if necessary 6 versus 6 (5 field player and 1 goalkeeper).
  • Game will be refereed by one referee.

Game Length: 

  • 2 twenty five minute halves (50 minute total game time) with a ten minute half time. 
  • Coaches may agree to play 4 twelve minute quarters with 2 minute quarter breaks.
  • Game timer should run continuous except for half time. No added time.

Rules of Play:

  • Size 4 Soccer Ball.
  • Substitutions are unlimited and can occur on goal kicks, throw-ins (either team) or injury. No substitutions on corner kicks.
  • Offsides to be called.
  • Game scores will be kept by referee.
  • No intentional heading of the ball. Indirect kick will be awarded to opposing team in the event of an intentional header.

Player Equipment:

  • Shin guards (mandatory) – needs to be inside of soccer socks.
  • Only soccer cleats allowed; no metal cleats or cleats that have a middle toe cleat.
  • Mouth guards for players with braces (mandatory).
  • Eye glass straps for players wearing glasses (mandatory). 
  • No jewelry (earrings, fitbits, watches, bracelets, etc.).
