Girls Soccer Youth Night, Tuesday October 6 at BHS Stadium, new times: arrive 4:30 PM, anthem 4:50, kickoff 5:00, free admission

Updated October 5: Bedford High moved the game up 30 minutes. Kickoff is now 5:00 PM, the National Anthem is at 4:50, and we are asking everyone to be on the track by 4:30. The pregame is the best part of the night for the girls, so please get there early.

Every BAC girl is invited onto the field at Bedford High School on Tuesday, October 6 for Girls Soccer Youth Night. The Bulldogs host Merrimack, admission is free, and our players get the night with the varsity team.

Here is how the evening runs:

  • 4:30 PM Arrive at BHS Stadium and meet the JV players on the track behind the goal. Players watch warm ups and collect stray shots from the track.
  • 4:50 PM Line up with the team for the National Anthem and pre-game sprints.
  • 5:00 PM Kickoff. Back to the stands.
  • After the game (about 6:45 to 7:45) Players and coaches meet in the 18 yard box for stations run by the varsity players, then a big group photo.

Wear your BAC team jersey. Every player needs a parent or coach with them the whole time, including on the track. The clinic wraps up around 7:45 PM. There is no concession stand this season, so bring your own dinner and snacks. If you want to stay, the boys varsity game against Merrimack follows at 8:15 PM on the same field.

Rec and travel, every age group, all are welcome. We did this last year with more than 100 people in the stands, and it turned into one of the best nights of the fall for our younger players. Many of them are already picturing themselves on that field someday.

Thanks to Coach Winning and the Bedford High girls program for hosting us again. Questions can go to travelprogram@bedfordac.com.
