Players try out for both the Fall and Spring seasons. Our goal is to meet every player where they are, placing each on a team that matches their development level. Tryout sessions are 45 minutes per age group and include warm-ups, athletic assessments, and small-sided scrimmages. All players are evaluated by our volunteer coaching staff and Elite UK Soccer trainers.

Age Group Format

BAC age groups follow a seasonal-year cycle (August 1 – July 31), aligning with USYS and NHSL standards. Please check the Age Group Matrix to confirm your child’s age group before registering for tryouts.

Attendance

  • Players must attend at least one of their two scheduled tryout sessions. We strongly recommend attending both for a more thorough evaluation.
  • Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time.
  • Parents must check in their child at the field and stay to confirm they are placed in the correct age group session before it begins.

What to Wear

Returning BAC Travel players: Please wear your BAC uniform jersey to tryouts based on your age group. This helps evaluators quickly identify returning players.

New to BAC Travel Soccer? No worries. You will be assigned a pinnie and number when you arrive at the field.

Interested in Coaching?

BAC is a volunteer-run club and we are always looking for parent coaches to help lead our teams. No soccer experience is necessary — all coaches receive support, resources, and access to our professional training partnership with Elite UK Soccer, plus one trainer-led practice per week for every team. If you are interested in coaching for the 2027-28 season, please let us know.
